Dear Colleagues
With new beginnings on the horizon, I want to take a moment to
express my heartfelt gratitude and reflect on this decade-long
journey, during which each one of you has played an integral part.
As I sit down to pen this, there are so many different emotions that
I am filled with much like you, but the predominant emotion is that
of pride in what we have managed to create together over the
years. It is one thing to craft a vision statement and brand purpose
but another to bring it to life. In Vistara’s case, I am happy to say
that we were successful in doing so with all credit to you. This
equity that we have built is rare and special, and something that
we must cherish. Thank you for bringing to life the ‘new feeling of
flying’ for our customers in your individual roles.
Over the years, we have weathered several storms, celebrated
milestones, and created memories that will last a lifetime. The
quotes by a few of our colleagues in the following pages perfectly
encapsulate some of these sentiments. Since I came on board in 2019,
the experience for me has been extremely rewarding and humbling.
We stayed focused even as we navigated the turbulent times of
the pandemic. We not only stayed afloat but also kept growing
without compromising on safety and quality. We strengthened
our fleet, expanded our network, created a catalogue of ground-
breaking industry-first initiatives, winning both hearts and awards,
and emerging as the 16th Best Airline in the World for two years in a
row.
While accomplishing key business milestones, our commitment to
community impact and environmental sustainability always
remained at the core of our operations. By investing in innovative
technologies, adopting sustainable practices, maintaining a fuel-
efficient fleet, and actively engaging in community initiatives across
our focus areas, we stayed committed to a better tomorrow.
